Disabled Surfing
Established by club founder Mike Christiansen and John Sigurdsson (ParaFed Taranaki) more than 10 years ago, this annual event is run in conjunction with the Halberg Foundation. It provides children with disabilities, the opportunity to surf.
The event is supported by volunteer members from the club
The smiles & bravery of the kids make it a highlight in our calendar
Each summer we will put out the call for volunteers to assist!
